Jennifer Howlett

Bio:

Jennifer is taking time off from staying home with her children to enjoy working at camp this summer.  Her previous experience with children includes having worked as a special education teacher for seven years, and as a camp specialist one summer at AFTER SCHOOL's Camp Madventure at Orchard Ridge Elementary.  She is excited to spend her summer outdoors.

  Camp Wildcat is based in the Sugar Creek Elementary School multipurpose room.  There is access to a large playground for group games and a shaded front lawn for water play and picnicking  There's even a wild garden for bug hunting and butterfly chasing!  Camp Wildcat staff are looking forward to planning a fun summer of activities for campers, ages 5-12.

  AUGUST 23-27     Encore! for Ages 5-12    $205 for the week 

Spend the last week of AFTER SCHOOL Day Camp at the Lussier Family Heritage Center in Lake Farm Park.  The center includes playground equipment, a campfire circle, access to hiking trails and plenty of outdoor space. Explore beyond the park by going on fun all day field trips. Share this last week before school starts with your camp friends and meet kids from other camps too. The Lussier Family Heritage Center is located at 3101 Lake Farm Road in Madison.

     
 

  AUGUST 23-27     Travel Club for Ages 8-13 $320 for the week

Spend each day on a different Wander Wisconsin adventure and sleep in your own bed at night. Monday, kicks off the week with a visit to Devil’s Lake State Park to swim, hike, fish and play group games. Tuesday, visit the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium and experience six different aquariums, interactive exhibits and hands-on activities. Wednesday, it’s off to Milwaukee to explore the state of the art Discovery World Museum at Pier Wisconsin. Thursday, explore the Milwaukee County Zoo, one of the best zoos in the nation and home to more than 1,800 animals representing over 350 species. Friday, finish off your week together at Noah’s Ark Water Park featuring 49 waterslides, 2 wave pools and 2 endless rivers! At Noah’s Ark you will divide into groups according to “adventure level”, so you will get to swim and slide on the attractions YOU are comfortable with. Travel Club IV is a great way to end your summer vacation!
