Jenny Multhauf

Bio:

Jenny has been involved with summer camps for seven years and has been with Camp of the Oaks for five summers.  During the school year she is an art teacher at Hononegah High School in Rockton, Illinois.  Her talents include painting, pottery, and jewelry-making. Jenny enjoys long walks on the beach, camping and fishing.  Jenny also likes traveling and has been to Ireland, England, Germany and Mexico, but her favorite place to be is at her family cabin on the Big Eau Plein Flowage in Mosinee, Wisconsin.  Jenny is looking forward to field trips and swimming this summer!

Christine Ramharter

Bio:

Christine has been with Camp of the Oaks for three summers.  As a child, she attended AFTER SCHOOL day camp and enjoyed the experiences she gained.  Christine is a recent graduate of UW-Platteville with a degree in middle-level education and an inter-disciplinary in social science and science.  During the school year Christine works as a substitute teacher and a waitress at the Stoughton Country Club.  Christine enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  She likes to be outdoors as much as possible and loves being in the sun.  Christine is an avid fisher"woman" and plans on catching a big muskie this summer!  She is looking forward to camp, seeing returning campers and meeting new campers!

  Camp of the Oaks serves campers ages 5-12 at River Bluff Middle School.  The site offers ideal spaces and locations for the variety of units and activities offered. As always, most of the staff are returning to Camp of the Oaks this year.  The staff hopes to see many campers return and welcomes all of the new campers!

  AUGUST 23-27     Encore! for Ages 5-12    $205 for the week 

Spend the last week of AFTER SCHOOL Day Camp at the Lussier Family Heritage Center in Lake Farm Park.  The center includes playground equipment, a campfire circle, access to hiking trails and plenty of outdoor space. Explore beyond the park by going on fun all day field trips. Share this last week before school starts with your camp friends and meet kids from other camps too. The Lussier Family Heritage Center is located at 3101 Lake Farm Road in Madison.

     
 

  AUGUST 23-27     Travel Club for Ages 8-13 $320 for the week

Spend each day on a different Wander Wisconsin adventure and sleep in your own bed at night. Monday, kicks off the week with a visit to Devil’s Lake State Park to swim, hike, fish and play group games. Tuesday, visit the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium and experience six different aquariums, interactive exhibits and hands-on activities. Wednesday, it’s off to Milwaukee to explore the state of the art Discovery World Museum at Pier Wisconsin. Thursday, explore the Milwaukee County Zoo, one of the best zoos in the nation and home to more than 1,800 animals representing over 350 species. Friday, finish off your week together at Noah’s Ark Water Park featuring 49 waterslides, 2 wave pools and 2 endless rivers! At Noah’s Ark you will divide into groups according to “adventure level”, so you will get to swim and slide on the attractions YOU are comfortable with. Travel Club IV is a great way to end your summer vacation!
