Rachel Konopka
Bio:
Rachel starts with AFTER SCHOOL in the summer of 2008 as Director of Camp of the Lakes. Rachel has served as a counselor and day camp coordinator at Pine Lake Camp in Wisconsin. She has a degree in social work and is continuing on in the Child, Youth and Family Welfare concentration at the master’s level. Rachel has taught and coached gymnastics and swimming and spent a semester is South Africa as part of the Batlokwa Circles of Care Project. She is looking forward to this summer at Camp of the Lakes.
Camp of the Lakes was one of the first AFTER
SCHOOL day camps, offering programs for 8-12 year olds.
Now Camp of the Lakes is available to campers ages
5-7 and ages 8-12, making it more convenient for parents
with children in both age groups.
Join us for this
final week of fun and festivities at Camp of the Lakes
at Crestwood, including: a day-long field trip with
the entire camp; special event with all of the AFTER
SCHOOL day camps; our last swimming field trip of the
summer; end of summer party, and more! Cost:
$140 for the week.
